If you have an extended auto warranty and are struggling to find a shop that will actually work with it, you're not alone. Our shop is trusted in East Flat Rock, helping drivers from multiple counties away get their vehicles repaired properly under extended warranty coverage.
We regularly work with major providers like Endurance, CarShield (SilverRock), Carvana, and CarMax, and we know how to navigate the process-so you don't have to.
Why Drivers Visit Our Shop
Extended warranty repairs can be frustrating. Many repair shops avoid them due to paperwork, inspections, or claim approvals. Customers choose us because:
- We understand extended warranty contracts and coverage details
- We communicate directly with warranty companies
- We document and submit claims correctly the first time
- We advocate for necessary repairs
- We've built a reputation across Western North Carolina for getting claims approved
As a result, drivers routinely come to us to have their warranty repairs handled by a shop that knows the system.
Extended Warranty Companies We Work With
We regularly handle repairs covered by many of today's most common extended warranty providers, including:
- Endurance
- CarShield
- Carvana (SilverRock)
- CarMax
- Other third-party extended warranty programs
If you're unsure whether your warranty is accepted, please contact us.
Will You Work With My Warranty Company?
Excluservice's Policy with Insurance, Extended, and Aftermarket Warranty Companies.
We will be glad to contact your insurance or warranty company to determine whether repairs on your vehicle may be covered. However, the administrative demands of working with third-party companies are very time-consuming and place a significant strain on our resources.
When contacting warranty or insurance providers, we are often placed on hold for 30 minutes or more while providing detailed vehicle findings, parts information, and labor documentation. In some cases, an adjuster may be sent to verify the findings.
When an adjuster arrives, we must pause work on another vehicle in order to place your vehicle on a lift for inspection. This process is extremely time-consuming. As a result, we can no longer absorb this administrative burden at no cost.
Administrative Fees
Our administrative fee for working with insurance and extended warranty companies is $150 per hour. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Calling third-party payers
- Working with field adjusters or inspectors
- Filing supplements
- Collecting payment
Any time spent communicating or interacting with insurance or extended warranty companies will be billed at $150 per hour.
Goodwill Administrative Fee Discount
As a gesture of goodwill, we will discount administrative fees by 10% of the total authorized repair invoice. This discount applies only to the current visit and cannot exceed the total administrative fee.
Examples
Example 1:
If we spend one hour working with the warranty company, the administrative
fee would be $150. If the total authorized repair invoice (excluding the
administrative fee) is $1,500 or more, the 10% discount would fully cover
the administrative fee. In this case, you would not be responsible for
paying the administrative fee.
Example 2:
If we spend 30 minutes on hold and an additional 15 minutes reviewing
repair details, and the warranty company denies coverage, the administrative
time totals 45 minutes ($112.50). If the customer chooses not to authorize
the repairs, the customer will be responsible for the $112.50 administrative
fee, in addition to any diagnostic fees assessed.
Important Policy Notes
- The administrative fee is charged per visit.
- The discount cannot exceed the administrative fee.
- Fees or discounts cannot be carried forward or applied to past or future visits.
- Customer authorization of the $150 administrative fee is required upfront before we contact any warranty company.
